Final Fantasy XIII: Freaking Eidolon Battles
Submitted by Xenoveritas on Mon, 2010-03-15 20:29 ::The Eidolon battles in Final Fantasy XIII are stupidly hard. These are the battles where you fight against a summon monster in order to gain the ability to summon it in battle.
Now you might be assuming I'm complaining about them being challenging. Except they're not, they're basically just rapidly switching between Paradigms and mashing X. (Or A on the Xbox 360.)
No, instead they're needlessly hard because of the way they're designed.
Garland will CRUSH YOU!

Wait, How Are They Going to do Tceles-B Hsup?
Submitted by Xenoveritas on Fri, 2010-02-26 07:07 ::One of the things in Final Fantasy was a "magic spell" taught to you by a broom that told you to Tceles-B Hsup - "push B-select" backwards. It brought up the world map. How can they do that on the iPhone?

Ah. Like that.
Final Fantasy is out on iPhone
Submitted by Xenoveritas on Thu, 2010-02-25 06:04 ::Hm... I may need to add an iPhone section under games.
Whatever. In any case, Final Fantasy (both I and II) are out for iPhone. Here are some screenshots from my first 15 minutes (yeah, I know, not very interesting):

Best Buy Completely Screws Up LittleBigPlanet Release
Submitted by Xenoveritas on Mon, 2008-10-27 21:23 ::You may have heard about LittleBigPlanet. It's only one of the most anticipated games this year. In order to increase anticipation, Sony released several preorder bonuses that were given to various retailers.
Best Buy got a special downloadable Nariko SackGirl, a costume for your character.
Browser Scramble
Submitted by Xenoveritas on Mon, 2008-09-15 14:11 ::I've created a Browser Scramble game. It's essentially a clone of another more Windows-only game, except this runs in pretty much any standards-compliant browser, and Internet Explorer too.
Obama Pin's Psych
Submitted by Xenoveritas on Sun, 2008-09-07 03:03 ::This is really just a retread of an earlier entry, but here we go, the Obama pin:

I wonder what the Psych is for an Obama pin?
Submitted by Xenoveritas on Fri, 2008-08-29 03:21 ::After looking at the Obama site and seeing them selling Obama pins (at $2, plus S&H), I couldn't help but think:
I wonder what the Psych for that pin would be?
(Explanation for those of you who have never played The World Ends With You: the player's magic powers in that game come in the form of "pins" - also called, in this case, "buttons." These powers are called Psychs.)
